What do you enjoy doing when you are not practicing dentistry?
I really enjoy being with my family as much as possible. I have 2 older children and a wonderful husband! I also enjoy being outdoors, fishing, traveling and going to the thrift store.

What is the biggest challenge people face when seeking dental treatment?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve seen over the years are patients that are fearful to go to the dentist. They usually have had bad experiences and it only takes one bad experience to cause apprehension/anxiety. So I find it challenging to be able to put them at ease, encouraging them to want to come back and take care of their oral health.
