  • What is the best compliment you have received as a dental assistant?

The best compliment that I’ve received as a dental assistant is when patients tell me how nice it is to be taken care of by such a caring, friendly assistant and that I make them feel more comfortable being in the dental chair.

  • What do you enjoy doing when you are not practicing dentistry?

When I am not practicing dentistry, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, I enjoy being outdoors, Riding motorcycles in the summer months and taking road trips.

  • What is the biggest challenge people face when seeking dental treatment?

I feel that the biggest challenge that people face when seeking dental treatment is getting into the dental chair and being comfortable whether it be for a simple cleaning or having treatment done. I’ve noticed that when a patient realizes that they are receiving good care they start to lose that fear and begin to gain and build trust.

  • What is your favorite toothpaste?

I’d have to say that I’m a big fan of Colgate products. I do prefer pastes over gels. And I do like the “Whitening” toothpastes.
